Trident Medical Center (Charleston, S.C.) is opening an adolescent unit at its Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness, in Adson, S.C., in August, according to the website abcnews4.com.
The 15-bed unit will include inpatient and outpatient services for patients aged 12 years and older.
The $47.5 million Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness opened in June 2023 with 45 beds designated for adult and geriatric care.
