The University Of Texas At Arlington To Add Clinical Research Imaging Center On Campus

The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in Arlington, Texas, is planning to build a $6.2 million clinical research imaging center at UTA’s Science and Engineering Innovation and Research building on its main campus.

The project will include medical research areas for brain health, including cognitive failure, traumatic brain injury, and Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

The facility will house a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine; currently, UTA faculty, staff, and students must travel to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas to access an MRI machine for research.
