International design firm Ware Malcomb (Irvine, Calif.) announced the completion of the new Keck Medicine of University of Southern California (USC) Buena Park Oncology Clinic in Buena Park, Calif.
Housed on the second floor of a five-story mixed-use building, the 4,600-square-foot clinic includes eight infusion bays, two private infusion treatment rooms, five exam rooms, two nurse stations, and clinical and administrative support rooms.
The clinic is organized around a centralized circulation layout with the patient examination and clinical administrative support rooms surrounding clinical support rooms in the center. The infusion bays are placed within an open space at the corner of the suite, offering ample natural light and views to the outside, while internal mid-height partitions provide some privacy to patients.
The interior features a color palette of white with tan, gray, and blue hues, as well as modern linear pendants, textured upholstery, and wood details.
ConAm Building Co. (San Clemente, Calif.) served as general contractor on the project.
