Real estate developer US Federal Properties (Kansas City, Mo.), is planning the 237,000-square-foot VA San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
Situated on 25 acres, the three-story facility will house consolidated services from multiple clinics throughout the region, including general and mental health, surgery, imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy. The layout will feature 128 exam rooms arranged in six patient aligned care team modules.
The project team includes Hoefer Welker, a Dallas-based multidisciplinary architecture, interior design, medical equipment planning, technology consultancy, and engineering firm.
The facility is slated to open by early 2022.
