Slidell Memorial Hospital (Slidell, La.) is building a new addition that will house new operating rooms (ORs), according to an article in Nola.com. The expanded facilities will enable the hospital to offer a full range of surgical services to breast cancer patients.
The $36 million, three-story building will include seven ORs on the second floor, as well as an entire floor of negative pressure inpatient rooms.
It’s slated to break ground at the end of the year and open in spring 2023.
