Proton International LLC (Delray Beach, Fla.) is planning a new cancer center in San Antonio, Texas.
The 26,000-square-foot San Antonio Proton Therapy Center will be located adjacent to The University of Texas (UT) Health San Antonio’s Greehey Campus (San Antonio) and the Mays Cancer Center (San Antonio), with UT Health as the clinical partner.
Three gardens inspired by South Texas’ nature and colors will be designed on the site, including a healing garden, a step garden with outdoor patio, and a garden located at the end of the treatment corridor.
The project team includes Stantec (architect; Edmonton, Canada).
