Kaweah Health (Visalia, Calif.) has opened its newly expanded emergency department (ED), according to an article in Valley Voice.
The project marks the final phase of a three-phase ED expansion and includes 24 additional exam rooms and a larger waiting area. [edit correct?]
Overall, the expansion increased Kaweah Health’s ED capacity from 32 to 73 beds.
