Children’s Hospital New Orleans (New Orleans) has completed an expansion of its emergency department (ED) in New Orleans, according to an article in Biz New Orleans.
The 32,000-square-foot project, part of a $300 million hospital transformation, is double the size of the former ED and consolidates services on one floor, including fast-track and rapid-assessment rooms, dedicated trauma bays, and a private behavioral health pod.
