Prattville Baptist Hospital (Prattville, Ala.) held a grand opening event for a new geriatric behavioral health wing, according to an article in Alabama News Network.
The $6.5 million project features a 22-bed inpatient psychological and behavioral care department for geriatric patients and a redesigned hospital main entrance and parking lot. Services will include treatment for mood, anxiety, psychotic, neurodegenerative growth, and thought disorders.
The wing is situated in the front of the hospital and adjacent to the emergency department ambulance entrance.
