Final Phase Of Montréal’s CHUM Completed

The Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) academic medical center has now completed its second and final phase, which includes an amphitheater adjacent to the surrounding medical towers, offices, medical archives, library, ambulatory care spaces, and underground parking. Additionally, the former Saint-Luc Hospital on the site was demolished.

The project team for the final phase included Jodoin Lemarre Pratte Architectes (architect; Montreal), and Menkes Shooner Dagenais LeTourneux (architect; Montreal).

Phase 1, completed in 2017, included three towers housing outpatient clinics, 772 inpatient rooms, and a cancer treatment center.
