Hospital For Special Surgery Completes Phase 1 Expansion Project in New York

The Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) recently completed Phase 1 of a multiphased expansion in Uniondale, N.Y.

Phase 1 included a new diagnostic and treatment facility located on the north side of the first floor of the building, adding 18,000 square feet of medical office space, 27 exam rooms, and three treatment rooms. Phase 2 will focus on a 15,000-square-foot retrofit of the original south side of the first floor, including a second MRI, physical therapy practice, and additional examination rooms.

TPG Architecture (New York) is the design firm on the project.
