Central Montana Medical Center (Lewiston, Mont.), a 25-bed critical access hospital, is planning a comprehensive cancer center at its facility, according to an article in KTVH.
The $8.9 million project will fill a gap in access for patients across nine rural counties in central Montana.
Construction on the facility is slated to begin in spring 2022 and the project is expected to open in summer or fall 2023.
