St. Luke’s University Health Network Anderson Campus Addition

FCA developed this new hospital for St. Luke’s University Health Network’s Anderson Campus, synthesizing the established brand of the health system with a contemporary aesthetic that reflects the relocation of maternity services from the city of Easton, Pa. to a more rural setting. The client’s vision was to provide an experience that is uniquely designed around the natural beauty of the Lehigh Valley, while catering to modern amenities and patient values. The design is respectful of their standards but is attuned to the culturally diverse and younger patient population of the surrounding communities that will be shopping for maternity services. The program for the hospital includes a 32-bed postpartum unit that includes six antenatal beds. Another floor includes the two-room C-Section suite and room for future growth, as well as nine LDR’s, a five-room triage suite, and a 26-bed NICU. The NICU is comprised of 18 bays and eight private rooms. The addition will also include a Maternal Fetal Medicine practice currently being developed for the first floor and a Graduate Medical Education Program.
