The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE; Washington, D.C.) has elected Gary Hamilton, senior vice president and Northeast region healthcare practice lead at WSP USA, (Montreal), to serve as deputy director of its healthcare innovation special interest group board.
Hamilton has led several of WSP’s key healthcare projects on the East Coast and currently serves as principal-in-charge on Universal Health Services’ new $375 million hospital at St. Elizabeths East (Washington, D.C.) and project manager for a project with Wexford Hospital (Wexford, Pa).
NSBE, one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States, supports and promotes the aspirations of collegiate and pre-collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology.
