Mercy Health celebrated a topping-out ceremony for Kings Mills Hospital in Cincinnati, according to the website journal-news.com.
Situated on a 30-acre site, the $200 million project includes a four-story hospital building and two-story medical office building (MOB).
The 172,500 square-foot hospital will include an emergency department, Level 2 cath lab, 60 inpatient beds, eight intensive care beds, four operating rooms, and three procedure suites.
The 30,000 square-foot MOB will be situated adjacent to the hospital and house specialist care, including cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery, gynecology, gastroenterology, and vascular services.
The project team comprises GBBN (architect; Cincinnati) and Danis Construction (construction; Columbus, Ohio).
The project is scheduled to open in 2023.
