Boston Medical Center (Boston) has renovated the shuttered Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center into the Brockton Behavioral Health Center in Brockton, Mass., according to the website yahoo.com.
The inpatient facility is scheduled to open in October and comprises 56 beds for patients with acute mental illnesses and 26 beds for patients with substance use disorders. Services include psychiatric care practices, one-on-one counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, and group therapy sessions.
The building is designed with a geothermal heating and cooling system, and solar panels will be added to the roof.
