Northern Michigan University (Marquette, Mich.) is planning to replace its current health center with a new health and wellness center in Marquette, according to the website uppermichigansource.com.
Situated adjacent to student housing, the 13,500-square-foot project will provide physical and mental health services for students, faculty, and staff.
The $6.3 million center will house expanded lab and pharmacy services, counselor offices, group therapy rooms, and remote session rooms. A dedicated parking area is also planned.
It is slated for completion in fall 2023 and is part of the university’s $90 million facility improvement plan.
