Nonprofit healthcare provider Lakeland Regional Health (Lakeland, Fla.) has finished building the Harrell Family Center for Behavioral Wellness, a freestanding mental health facility in Lakeland, Fla., according to the website theledger.com.
The $46 million, 80,000-square-foot project houses outpatient and inpatient mental health services and will consolidate the organization’s existing healthcare services at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and its outlying campus under one roof.
The center offers 96 licensed inpatient beds for adult and pediatric patients, an interventional psychology suite, The Bill & Kathy Pou Pediatric and Adolescent Unit, courtyards, and enclosed outdoor space segregated by age and unit.
