A new hospital is being planned in eastern Tuscaloosa County, Ala., according to an article in tuscaloosanews.com.
The 405,186-square-foot project will house 200 beds, an 26-room emergency department (ED), 12 operating rooms (ORs), eight labor and delivery rooms, and eight multipurpose rooms.
The $360 million project will be funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) as part of an $1 billion plan by the USDA to build and improve community facilities in 48 states, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
