The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) – Joan and Sanford I. Weill Neurosciences Building has opened as part of the UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco.
The six-story comprehensive neuroscience center will serve as the hub for the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences and the UCSF headquarters for the Weill Neurohub, a research collaboration with UC Berkeley (Berkley, Calif.) and the University of Washington (Seattle).
The project team includes Mark Cavagnero Associates Architects (architect; San Francisco), SmithGroupJJR (architect; Detroit), and DPR (general contractor; Redwood City, Calif.).
