Amsterdam UMC Renovates Patient Tower In Amsterdam

Amsterdam UMC is renovating the patient room towers at its medical center campus in Amsterdam.

The 247,569-square-foot phased project includes the modernization of 18 departments, including a new neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with couplet care rooms.

The project team includes EGM Architects (architect; Dordrecht, Netherlands), Wiegerinck Architects (architect; Arnhem, Netherlands), and Heijmans (construction; Rosmalen, Netherlands).

The renovation is scheduled for completion in 2025.
