Aspirus Health Plans $15.8M Replacement Hospital In Michigan

Aspirus Health (Wausau, Wis.) is planning a replacement hospital in Ontonagon, Mich., according to an article in The Mining Journal.

The $15.8 million facility will be built on the site of the existing Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital.

The new hospital will include inpatient and observation beds and an emergency department (ED) and will a range of services, including primary, specialty care, imaging, and infusion.

The project is expected to begin in spring 2022.
