UMass Memorial Hospital (Worcester, Mass.) is planning an acute care facility in Worcester, according to an article in thisweekinworcester.com.
The hospital purchased the former Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center and will renovate the facility into an acute care facility with inpatient medical/surgical beds.
