Three Healthcare Projects Planned In Arizona

Several healthcare organizations, including Tucson HealthCare (TMC; Tucson), Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC; Yuma, Ariz.), and Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH; Flagstaff), are planning new projects in Arizona, in partnership with MedCraft Healthcare Real Estate (Minneapolis), a development, financing, and management firm of ambulatory care and medical office buildings.

In May, TMC broke ground on the Rincon Ambulatory Surgery Center, which will include four operating room (ORs). The project team comprises Orcutt Winslow (architect; Phoenix) and Kraus-Anderson (general contractor; Scottsdale). It is slated for completion in spring 2022.

YRMC is planning a new surgical specialty facility at its Yuma campus and an expansion of its Foothills, Ariz., campus, which will include emergency services, primary care,  laboratory services, imaging services, and a pharmacy.

NAH is planning a $750 million expansion and relocation of the NAH Flagstaff campus to a 180-acre greenfield site.
