Waterloo Eye Institute Project Planned In Canada

The University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry & Vision Science (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada) has selected architecture firm HOK (St. Louis) to design its new Waterloo Eye Institute, an eye and vision care center of excellence.

The $50 million, 67,000-square-foot project will include the expansion of two floors of the existing School of Optometry & Vision Science building on the University of Waterloo’s campus in Waterloo.

The institute is planned to serve as an integrated modern research hub and is slated to break ground in late 2021 or early 2022.
