MetroHealth Plans $42M Behavioral Health Expansion In Ohio

MetroHealth (Cleveland Heights, Ohio) is planning a $42 million behavioral health and addiction expansion at the hospital system’s Cleveland Heights Medical Center in Cleveland Heights, according to an article in freshwatercleveland.com.

The project will include 110 new treatment beds and a psychiatric urgent care center. The expansion will also include specialized units, including ones for adolescents and older adults focused on mood and thought disorders and addiction.

The project is slated for completion in October 2022.
