Michigan Medicine (Ann Arbor, Mich.) will resume construction on a new 12-story hospital that was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an article in All About Ann Arbor.
Construction on the project began in October 2019 and was stopped in March 2020.
The 690,000-square-foot project will house specialty care services for patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions, advanced imaging, and a neurological and neurosurgical center.
It will include 264 private patient rooms, family spaces in each patient room, and 20 operating rooms on two floors.
