Elks Children’s Eye Clinic at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU; Portland, Ore.) has completed construction in Portland.
The $50-million, five-story facility connects to the existing Casey Eye Institute via a sky-bridge. It serves children and adults and offers comprehensive care, as well as research, on a variety of conditions, including macular degeneration, inherited genetic mutations, retinal conditions, and low-vision rehabilitation.
The eye clinic includes areas for clinical trials and telemedicine care, conference rooms, and a café.
The project team includes NBBJ (architecture and design; Portland) and Skanska (construction; Portland).
