Healthcare system MercyOne (Clive, Iowa) and Albert Lea Healthcare Coalition (Albert Lea, Minn.), a regional health and wellness organization, broke ground on a new hospital for primary care, specialty, and outpatient surgery services in Albert Lea, according to an article in KTTC.
The 64,000-square-foot project will be broken into five phases. The first phase will add 14,000 square feet of primary care and some specialty services and is slated for competition in July 2021.
The entire project is expected to take five years.
