University of Missouri Health Care (Columbia, Mo.) is building a new children’s hospital in Columbia, according to an article in ABC 17.
The $232 million, seven-story hospital will include 142 patient beds, a cancer center, intensive care unit, and labor and delivery suites.
The university plans to relocate the current Women’s and Children’s Hospital (Columbia) to the new facility, while the existing facility will be repurposed.
Construction on the 323,4000-square-foot project is slated to be completed in summer 2024.
