Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center Tops Out New Patient Tower

Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center (Tarzana, Calif.) celebrated a topping out ceremony with the signing of a 22-foot steel beam atop the new patient tower under construction on the grounds of the nearly 50-year-old hospital.

Slated for completion in 2023, the expanded and renovated hospital  will feature the new five-story patient care tower with all private patient rooms, an expanded ED, outdoor healing garden, new diagnostic and treatment services, and enhanced outpatient and ambulatory services.

The project team includes Perkins&Will (architect; Los Angeles) and McCarthy Building Companies Inc. (general contractor; Newport Beach, Calif.).
