Bryan Health (Lincoln, Neb.) and Mary Lanning Healthcare (Hastings, Neb.) have opened the Grand Island Regional Medical Center in Grand Island, Neb. , according to an article in the Grand Island Independent.
The 174,000-square-foot, 67-bed acute care hospital offers surgical, orthopedic, postpartum recovery, neonatal care, and intensive care services.
The design of the $115 million, four-story project features a prairie-grass themed design inspired by area’s Great Plains locale.
The project team includes HDR (architecture and design; Omaha, Neb.).
