The Regional Medical Center (Orangeburg, S.C.) is planning an alternate care site near its emergency department entrance to prepare for any additional spike in COVID-19 cases, according to an article in The Times and Democrat.
Construction of the alternate care site is expected to take two to three days while final set-up, including medical equipment, monitoring, and documentation stations, is planned for a two- to three-week period.
