Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health (Charleston, S.C.) is planning a new hospital in the Williamsburg/Lake City, S.C., region, according to an article in SCNow.
The Williamsburg-Lake City Regional Hospital will replace two existing hospitals in the area and will become part of the Florence Division of MUSC Health.
Slated to open in January 2023, the project will feature 25 beds, operating and diagnostic services, and a 16-bay emergency department.
