Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network Plans Replacement Hospital

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network (Allentown, Pa.) is planning to replace its aging rehabilitation hospital in Allentown, Pa., and relocate it to Center Valley, Pa., according to an article in The Morning Call.

Situated on 12 acres, the new three-story project will offer 75 private beds and provide acute inpatient rehabilitation for adults, including physiatry services; occupational, physical, recreational, and speech therapies; imaging; pharmacy; and clinical psychology. Dedicated units for brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke also will be added, as well as a multistory gym.

The 123,000-square-foot hospital is expected to open in 2023.
