Global integrated design firm Stantec (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) has named Melsie Ordoñez as buildings engineering principal in its Miami office. Ordoñez’s responsibilities will include developing the local healthcare market.
Ordoñez brings 21 years of experience in managing and designing mechanical systems for the healthcare market internationally and throughout the southeastern United States. Her expertise includes project management, HVAC building, utility, and LEED Certification design, as well as construction administration and commissioning.
Prior to joining Stantec, Ordoñez was a senior mechanical engineer and director of operations at an international consulting engineering firm in Miami, overseeing healthcare clients such as Jackson South Community Hospital.
