Integrated healthcare organization Gundersen Health System (La Crosse, Wis.) is preparing to open a replacement facility for St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Hillsboro, Wis., according to an article in News8000.com.
The $33 million, 4,000 square-foot-project features a circular drop-off area, emergency department, first-floor rehabilitation department, and 12 inpatient rooms with panoramic lakeside views.
The lobby will have an open floor plan. Large, high-efficiency windows will provide access to daylight and views to the outdoors. The campus will also offer a lakeside patio and lakeside walking trail.
