Burns & McDonnell Hires Chris Powers As Healthcare Design Leader

Healthcare design and construction veteran Chris Powers has joined Burns & McDonnell, an employee-owned engineering, architecture, and construction company, as healthcare facilities project manager.

Powers will help expand services and offerings from the firm’s office in Nashville, Tenn., and lead design for healthcare projects in Nashville, as well as nationally, as the firm continues to expand in the Southeast.

Prior to joining Burns & McDonnell, Powers served for more than a decade as director of design at HCA Healthcare (Nashville). He serves on the board for the Nashville Civic Design Center and is a member of Healthcare Design’s Editorial Advisory Board. He received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Mississippi State University.
